Sponsored Seats Program

Beyond the Front Porch is very fortunate to have individuals and businesses who believe in the mission and experiences that we provide to the children who have a desire to participate in the educational field trips we travel to each month. Through the Sponsored Seat Program we have the resources to make sure those families who do not have the financial resources to participate, will not be excluded. If you think about it, you never know which field trip will resonate with a child so much that it will impact them for life, which is why it is our responsibility to expose them to a variety of places to show ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE given your personal experiences. Right now it is important that we give as many different children this opportunity as possible, therefore we have the following Sponsored Seat Rules to share:

• Parent(s) or named adult must travel with the child(ren) on the trip. Since the child(ren) seat would be sponsored, the adult would have to pay.
• Have to submit copy of free/reduced lunch program eligibility letter with the trip registration form.
• The Sponsored Seat Program will operate under a first come first served basis.
• 1st field trip – full sponsorship per child
  2nd field trip $5 per child paid by the parent, $20 sponsored
  3rd field trip $10 per child paid by the parent, $15 sponsored
  4th field trip $15 per child paid by the parent, $10 sponsored
  5th field trip $20 per child paid by the parent, $5 sponsored
  Remaining trips $25 per child paid by the parent
  *based on seat availability

With this process in place we will be able to maximize the number of children that we will be able to impact that are in a position of need. We are encouraging behaviors to support strengthening the family experience as a whole. Finally we are taking steps to protect the awesome gifts that our supporters have so generously given to Beyond the Front Porch.

Please email info@beyondthefrontporch.org with the subject line Referring to Sponsored Seat Program, if you would like to refer a child or family that has the desire to see beyond their current surroundings and are not financially able to do so but are willing to meet the criteria above.
